2024 Honorable Mention Jim Nantz Award Winning Reel
Legendary sports broadcast announcer Jim Nantz, who has called historic sporting events like the Super Bowl, the Final Four, and the Masters, has shown a consistent interest in the nation’s young broadcast talent. Since 2009, Jim has teamed up with the Sportscasters Talent Agency of America (STAA) to give out the Jim Nantz Award. The Jim Nantz Award is presented each spring to the nation’s most outstanding collegiate sportscaster. The trophy honors the Hall of Fame CBS sports broadcaster who exemplifies the best of the industry on and off the air. Presented here is my 2024 honorable mention Jim Nantz Award winning reel.

My love for sportscasting began in 2018 when I became the voice of Norris School District Video (NSDV), calling play by play for High School Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, and Baseball. Upon graduation, I took my talents to Grand Canyon University where I called games for the Antelopes for three years.
Featured in Segments like “Lopes 60” and nationally recognized through awards like STAA Talent’s “National Calls of the Week”, I gained some of the best experience possible during my years at Grand Canyon University.
